About WEMPlapedia
The WEMPlapedia is a dynamic database of wild edible and medicinal plants, from which can get reliable information both on the terrain, and at home in terms of use, all that in your native language. The content is continuously developing.
You can find photographs, botanical information, harvesting guide on the datasheet of each plant, as well as information about possible confusions and edible and medicinal uses. I tried to establish a system that I would have used if exists, so I hope it will help to all my fellow with the same shoes.
The primary criterion is the authenticity for me, so I ask my professional visitors to feel free to inform me about any doubts, comments.
About the WEMPla Project
What if there exists a virtual universe, where everything is together ! Everything including excursions, events, plants to harvest, recipes...that became the WEMPla Project. It is still coming out of ground and grow to a beautiful flower. Be a part of it !
And why WEMPla ? WEMPla means Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants. I think it provides an excellent supplement to our diet. These plants are delicious and healthy, and in addition to that they « come » from a self-sustaining system, the Nature. They do not need to be watered, fertilized, no need to cultivate the soil. The ecological footprint is close to zero! It is worth to get to know, to experiment with them, because they are easily adaptable to the daily diet.
